Monumental Art Installation
We were tasked with engineering a combination monumental glass wall and large scale doorway. The custom stained glass wall above was designed to be supported on a hidden header that spans over the large-scale swinging doors. The doors were engineered using custom aluminum frames designed to minimize the weight, allowing the doors to be operable, while also ensuring they meet the stringent deflection requirements in two directions needed to support massive panes of glass.
