Home Renovation

As part of an interior modernization for a historic spanish style house, the client wanted to open up the kitchen area and provide more flow through to the dining room. To achieve this, we added new girders in the ceiling to be able to remove several internal bearing walls.

Additional work included rearranging the closets at the rear of the house by adding girders to remove bearing walls and also widened the door opening to the back yard with a new header.
